Helping customers understand what’s possible.

Meet the Solution Consulting Team

We work closely with our customers and prospects to understand their most immediate needs and think outside of the ‘Problem’ to deliver impactful solutions. We are industry agnostic, but experts in workflow optimization (with some optimism sprinkled within)
🎯 What we’re here to do
We support both our customers and commercial colleagues by focusing on impactful solutions and driving efficiency gains with customized workflows.

That means understanding a customer’s process, asking the right questions, and showing how IPRally fits. Sometimes we run workshops. Sometimes we build examples (even for fun!). Sometimes we just listen.

We aim to simplify and support our users while they grow from Traditional Patent Search tools to our Industry Leading AI Patent tool.
🧪 How we work
We work across sales, product, and marketing. One day we might run a webinar and the next we’re mapping workflows or gathering user feedback.

We don’t have rigid roles; we just follow what’s needed to help people understand the product better.

It’s honest work, but someone has to do it.
⚙️ Our tools & tech
We use a mix of tools depending on the task:

IPRally

Of course, we use what we support

Google Drive/MSFT Office

For walkthroughs and customer-specific materials; Sharing & Collaborating internally, etc.

ChatGPT; Anthropic

To support knowledge growth and inspire curiosity

CRM & feedback tools

To track patterns and ideas, support Product & Customer Success
💡 What guides us

🧠 Be curious

We ask a lot of questions before offering answers, be a ‘3 Year Old’

🎉 Make it enjoyable

Even technical conversations can be friendly and relaxed.

📡 Share what we learn

Customer insights don’t stay in a silo; they get passed on to product and marketing (or anyone who wants to listen).

🪄 Turn abstract into clear

If a user says “ah, now I get it,” we’ve done our job. If they say ‘I don’t get it’ we did as well, as we strive to be open and drive trust.
📚 What new teammates usually ask
Do I need to have a patent background?
No, but you should have experience in customer facing environments. Curiosity is paramount, but also the confidence to speak freely. We’ll help you learn the rest.
Is the role customer-facing?
Yes, often. You’ll join calls, lead workshops, and answer both simple and complex questions. It’s important to enjoy communication and problem solving.
What does a typical day look like?
There’s no set routine. You might jump between calls, content work, and internal planning.
How closely do you work with other teams?
Very closely. We sit between sales, product, and marketing, and try to bridge all three.
What’s the culture like?
Friendly, curious, and collaborative. We’re a small group, so we share ideas freely and support each other. Some dad jokes (ok, many) but always open to new comedic avenues.
